What is a SpudZooka? It is a device that is capable of launching a potato several hundred yards. You may have heard it called a Spud Gun, Potato Launcher, Potato Cannon, but it’s all the same. Pneumatic cannons are nothing like the old combustion style. In power, there is no comparison. This site offers you free detailed plans so that you can build your own pneumatic potato cannon. Now, the good stuff . . .

If you are new to the idea of launching spuds, here is some background.
Basically there are two styles . . .

Fuel - This is powered by a flammable atomized mixture typically hair spray or WD-40 Learn to build one here.
- Advantages
  - Very easy to construct
  - Parts are easily obtainable
- Disadvantages
  - Occasionally misfire
  - Very loud (This could be an advantage on the 4th of July though.)
Kick Ass Pneumatic - Powered by compressed air typically up to 100psi.
- Advantages
  - Very easy to regulate power
  - Quick to reload
  - Greater power = greater distances
- Disadvantages
  - Requires a source of compressed air
  - Requires advanced construction techniques
